About the Role
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract offering the opportunity to join a global leader, gain valuable industry experience, and thrive in a fast-paced, varied role.
This role is critical in supporting the administration, coordination, and customer management of monitored fire alarm accounts across commercial and industrial clients.
The successful candidate will work closely with customers, service teams, monitoring operators, and sales to ensure accurate account management, compliance, and exceptional customer service.
You will be responsible for managing customer accounts and monitoring administration from onboarding through to transfers, retention, and cancellations.
This role requires robust attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to confidently manage multiple priorities within a compliance-driven environment.
Exposure to the fire protection industry, monitoring services, building compliance, or technical administration will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
Process and maintain monitoring connections within the relevant state fire authority systems
Coordinate and maintain building permits, service records, reports, and customer documentation
Ensure monitoring records and customer information remain accurate and up to date
Maintain communication with state fire authorities and local government agencies to ensure accuracy of turn out and compliance
Manage transfers of ownership, strata changes and monitoring cancellations
Support customer retention activities and resolve account disputes professionally
Assist customers with general account enquiries and updates
Respond to aged debt and account-related enquiries
Work closely with internal teams including monitoring, service, sales, and operations
Develop and maintain an understanding of fire alarm panels, monitoring requirements per state and relevant compliance processes
Maintain high levels of data integrity across all systems and records
Maintain major national client contracts, invoicing and enquires
About You
Previous experience in administration, contracts administration, customer service, or sales support
Experience within the fire protection, security, building services, compliance, or technical services industry is highly desirable
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage accurate data and documentation
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Confident handling customer enquiries, dispute resolution, and retention conversations
Professional, organised, and team-oriented approach
Experience working with permits, compliance documentation, or service coordination is advantageous
