The Role
An opportunity has become available for aSocial Worker (Secure Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit)to joinGold Coast Health(GCH) where the focus of our ******-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Provide an efficient and responsive mental health Social Work service within identified models of care
Provide of Social Work psychosocial services such as the implementation of clinically appropriate interventions
As experience builds, apply increasingly independent clinical judgement to more complex clinical decision making under the practice supervision
Develop clinical practice knowledge and expertise of Social Work skills through self-directed learning, active learning within the team
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
Tertiary degree in Social Worker or equivalent and eligibility for membership to the AASW
Working with Children check
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
Driver Licence
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Base salary ranging from $79,051 - $116,189 per annum
