Early Childhood Teacher / Educational
Leader (Full-Time)
Warilla Baptist Preschool is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood
Teacher / Educational Leader to join our warm, community-focused preschool on a
full-time basis.
We are a not-for-profit preschool committed to providing high-quality early childhood
education in a nurturing, inclusive and play-based environment where every child is
valued, respected and supported to thrive.
As our Early Childhood Teacher and Educational Leader, you will play a key role in
leading our educational program, mentoring educators and inspiring a culture of
continuous improvement while fostering meaningful relationships with children,
families and the wider community.
About the Role
As the Early Childhood Teacher / Educational Leader, you will:
• Lead the planning, implementation and evaluation of a high-quality educational
program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Fulfil the role of Educational Leader, supporting and mentoring educators to
reflect on and enhance their practice.
• Foster warm, respectful and responsive relationships with children and families.
• Create engaging learning environments that promote children's wellbeing,
learning and development.
• Work collaboratively with the Nominated Supervisor and team to achieve quality
outcomes and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the Preschool's Self-Assessment and
Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
• An ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification.
• Current NESA accreditation (or eligibility).
• Current NSW Working with Children Check.
• Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to
obtain).
• A sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and
Regulations, National Quality Standard and Early Years Learning Framework.
• Excellent communication, leadership and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for providing high-quality education and care for young
children.
