Creating a warm welcome to everyone and setting the tone for each guest's experience
Prepare food and beverages for service to guests and present food according to established health and presentation standards
Look after your bar – keep it clean and tidy and make sure the alcohol is always secure
Handle cash and credit transactions
Look smart – wear your uniform with pride
Be ready to jump into other ad-hoc duties when your colleagues need your help
Always follow safety procedures
Monitor guest behaviour and guest alcohol consumption to determine when alcohol service to the guest should cease; notify management of incidents involving excessive alcohol consumption or impaired condition of guests; check identification whenever the age of a guest requesting an alcoholic beverage service is questionable
Clear and clean tables in a prompt and efficient manner. Clean and/or wipe down tables, chairs, walls, windows, mirrors, and floors as necessary
Take action to solve guest problems/complaints and use established guidelines for any service recovery to ensure guest satisfaction, notify team leader on shift of any experienced issues
Receive guest payments and process transactions as outlined in the cash and charge procedures as needed
What we need from you
Excellent RSA serves skills
Fitness – you'll be on your feet most of the day with lots of bending and kneeling
Strength –sometimes you'll need to lift, push or pull big objects like barrels & crates up to 23 kg
Literate – you'll need a good grasp of reading,



writing and basic maths
Flexible – night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job
Experienced – you'll know how to prepare a wide range of drinks. Ideally with formal bartending training
Compliant – as well as meeting local laws on food handling and serving alcohol, you'll be above the minimum age required and fluent in the local language
Articulate – a outstanding communicator, you'll be warm, welcoming and easy to talk to
