Position Information
Narrabeen Sports High School is a dynamic and inclusive, 7-12 comprehensive, coeducational high school, with an enrolment of 810 students, including 14 Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students). Our significant school upgrade is creating a modern learning environment to support teaching excellence. Our modern TAS facilities include new Timber and STEM/ D&T; rooms to complement the trade training centre. Specific Selection Criteria
Approval to teach Food Technology.
Approval to teach or preparedness to undertake VET teacher training inVHO – Hospitality Commercial Cookery providing the qualification entry benchmark is met.
Demonstrated ability to deliver effective teaching practice to meet a range of student learning needs.
Ability to work collaboratively with faculty members to develop, implement and evaluate programs that support faculty goals and student growth.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
A Relocation Support Payment of $5,000 up to $8,000 will be available for eligible applicants.
