Plumber / Fitter / Manufacturing Tradesperson – Water Treatment Systems

We are recognized as a market leader in South Australia. Our core business incorporates cutting-edge technologies, including membrane systems (RO, UF, MF), ion exchange, media filtration, water softeners, UV sterilization, cartridge filtration, pumps, wastewater pumping stations, and Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) trade waste plants.
Due to recent growth within our Installation and Manufacturing Divisions, we are seeking an experienced, self-motivated Tradesperson to join our team. This role is ideally suited to a Plumber or Fitter with construction experience. However, we also welcome applications from driven candidates keen to advance their careers, face new challenges, or bring a strong "can-do" attitude and a willingness to be trained in all facets of water treatment.
Job Responsibilities
This diverse role spans manufacturing, workshop assembly, and occasional on-site installation work. Key responsibilities include:

Plant Fabrication:
Assist in the workshop manufacture and assembly of water treatment and filtration plants using uPVC Schedule 80 and stainless-steel pipework.

Component Fitting:
Fit and assemble components onto skids, followed by quality and performance testing of the finished product.

Design & Construction:
Learn to help design and construct specialized water treatment equipment, mentored by industry-leading experts.

Field Support:




Assist the service team with on-site servicing and preventative maintenance of various water treatment plants as required.

General Duties:
Complete general workshop and operational tasks to support the team.
Key Skills & Qualifications
· Current Plumbing License or equivalent trade qualification.
· Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings.
· Confident troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
· Solid leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
· A high level of punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
· Excellent presentation and a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe workplace.
· A comprehensive understanding of the safe use of tools, machinery, and WHS policies.
· Flexibility to travel and work interstate if required.
· Prior water treatment knowledge is advantageous but not essential.
Compliance & Certifications
· Valid Construction Induction Card (White Card).
· Current National Police Clearance.
· Valid Driver's License.
· Evidence of double COVID-19 vaccination plus booster (mandatory due to regular work in hospital and aged care settings).
· Annual influenza vaccination is highly desirable.
