A unique opportunity exists for Occupational Therapists to join our inpatient mental health service casual pool.
We are looking for OTs to work casual shifts and compliment our supportive multidisciplinary team and provide innovative programs for our consumer group.
As a casual, you can work as much or as little as you like to fit in with your lifestyle and committments!
We are seeking passionate, committed and enthusiastic Occupational Therapists who have the confidence and ability to make autonomous decisions and work collectively within the Multidisciplinary team.
This is a fantastic chance to work for a reputable service and great chance for inpatient experience.
This role will help p
lan, coordinate and deliver high quality occupational therapy support to the consumers of the inpatient mental health services consistent with South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD)
policies, procedures and standards.

Selection Criteria
:
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the below questions as thoroughly as possible.
Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award and registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
Demonstrated core competency skills in developing and delivering Occupational Therapy based individual programs and therapeutic groups.
Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to proactively engage with patients/clients to enhance service delivery.
Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to exercise independent professional judgement on routine matters, commensurate with years of experience.
Demonstrate a sound understanding of technology relevant to the work unit and comply with information and communications security and acceptable use policies.
Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and evidence based practice and a commitment to ongoing clinical and professional learning.
Current NSW Driver's Licence or willingness to travel.
