About us:
Based in NSW Parliament, the Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is a specialist service department working to support the operation of the Parliament of NSW by providing logistical support and advice to members, the Departments of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly and the people of New South Wales.
Our office is found close to public transport in the heart of Macquarie Street CBD, next to the State Library and Sydney's Botanic Gardens.

About the role
The role of the Hansard subeditor is to edit and prepare for publication the proceedings of the Houses of Parliament and their committees.
Your work will provide an accurate record of parliamentary proceedings to ensure the production of a contemporary public record.
This is a leadership role where the successful applicant will be expected to support the evolution of the Hansard function, including the introduction and use of new technologies.
As a leader, the role also manages a small team of parliamentary reporters and the completion of procedural, training and administrative functions on behalf of the Editor of Debates.
