What you need to be a CSO
To join us as a CSO you will need:

Completed Bachelor degree

What does being a CSO mean?
As a CSO, you'll be a voice for children and young people, ensuring their safety and wellbeing under the
Child Protection Act ****

You'll:
Work closely with families, caregivers, and community organisations




Deliver statutory child protection services, including assessment, intervention, casework, and case management
Attending court and writing affidavits
Working with partner agencies and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community organisations
Provide safe, culturally informed, and respectful support to families from diverse backgrounds

PO3 Starting salary of $102,817 - $111,975
*****% superannuation
Versatile leave and TOIL options
2 weeks of formal training and ongoing training including one-on-ones with your Team leader
Additional regional and remote benefits up to $10,000 annually, PLUS accommodation subsidies, extra leave entitlements (depending on location)

that applicants for public sector roles must be informed of any suitability assessments that may be required to determine the person's suitability
for employment as a public sector employee.
