A bit about your role

As a Legal Counsel, you will provide expert legal advice that supports nbn's strategic objectives while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. A bit about you

You are a qualified lawyer with approximately 5–8 years' post‑qualification experience gained within a leading law firm and/or a corporate in‑house legal environment. You bring demonstrated experience advising on property transactions, leasing or infrastructure‑related property matters, together with an understanding of corporate governance frameworks and obligations.

You are comfortable navigating complex legal issues, balancing legal risk with commercial outcomes and providing practical, solutions‑focused advice. A commercially minded lawyer, you build trusted relationships, communicate with clarity and influence, and work effectively with stakeholders across a large and complex organisation. With strong judgement, adaptability and a collaborative approach, you will contribute to a high‑performing legal team while helping nbn deliver on its purpose of connecting Australia and shaping the nation's digital future.
