Business Analyst – Clinical Informatics Unit

This part‑time, permanent position (23 hours per week) is based at Wollongong Hospital and requires candidates who meet the vaccination requirements for a CategoryB role. The Business Analyst will provide vital support to the ongoing implementation and optimisation of the Electronic Medical Record (eMR), including the transition to the Epic Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR) across the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD).

Responsibilities

- Engage with clinicians, operational staff, and system vendors to analyse clinical and business workflows, identify functional requirements, and support the delivery of digital solutions that enhance patient care and clinical efficiency.
- Contribute to the design, testing, and refinement of digital capabilities across multiple areas.
- Ensure system functionality aligns with real‑world clinical needs by incorporating relevant policies, procedures, and established workflows, supporting the Epic SDPR in delivering safe, timely, and consistent access to high‑quality patient information at the point of care.
- Act as a conduit between clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to drive the successful integration of digital systems into everyday clinical practice and contribute to continuous improvement across ISLHD.

Salary range: $114,251 – $134,809 per annum.
