The Opportunity:

Due to growth across the business and our expanding New Employer Division we currently have a new opportunity for a Master of Psychology Graduate, Rehabilitation Counsellor or Psychology (Hons) looking for more exposure to complex psych claims to join our Team!

Full induction, training, and buddy system provided to set you up for success. Including weekly and monthly team meetings targeted at developing your exposure to different psychometrics assessments and interventions.

In your new role you will manage a portfolio of clients with an injury who are unable to return to their pre-injury role to find meaningful employment with a new organisation. This involves creating and monitoring rehabilitation plans which aim to gradually return your clients back to work.





You will develop the skills needed to conduct motivational interviews with clients as well as influencing stakeholders to achieve the best possible outcomes for your clients.

Looking after a client portfolio, your day will include:

- Manage a portfolio of clients with a psychological or physical injury working towards finding new employment
- Complete initial & psychometric assessments which will provide a comprehensive overview of the injury and biopsychosocial barriers
- Conducting vocational assessments to identify skills and capabilities, rehabilitation and vocational counselling and motivational interviewing to provide ongoing support to overcome barriers
- Providing support through recommendations for community assistance or additional support through the insurer
- Working within a multi-disciplinary team to provide complex stakeholder management to support the recovery of an injured worker
- Document case notes as part of reporting and compliance requirements, applying your clinical judgement to support and guide your clients to a safe return to work goal

About You

- Associate or Full membership with ASORC as a Rehabilitation Counsellor OR AHPRA as a Psychologist
- Car and valid Driver’s license
- Police check or willingness to obtain a police check prior to commencement
- Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
- Ability to work in autonomously and as part of a team
