About the Firm

A well‑connected boutique practice in the Sydney CBD, this firm is building a strong reputation across employment, industrial relations, general commercial disputes and commercial matters.

Led by a highly regarded Director with robust union relationships, the team combines traditional legal work with innovative, “productised” offerings.

With a close‑knit team of 5 lawyers (plus senior external support), they’re in growth mode and looking to hire 1–2 lawyers in the immediate term.

The Role

A genuinely broad role with a strong employment/IR focus, alongside commercial or commercial dispute work (depending on your strengths.

You’ll be involved in:
Industrial relations matters, including enterprise agreements
Employment advisory and disputes (e.g. unpaid salary/bonus claims)




Commercial disputes work
Drafting and advising on commercial contracts
High‑volume template/contract work (particularly for recruitment agencies)
A mix of billable matters and scalable, productised legal services

About You
2 PQE in Employment Law or Commercial Disputes
Background in commercial, disputes, or employment law
Keen to build your expertise in employment/IR
Comfortable taking ownership and working closely with clients
Strong work ethic and proactive mindset
Values responsibility, learning, and growth over hierarchy
