Lyell McEwin Hospital is one of South Australia's busiest public health services, and the Division of Medicine is at the heart of its clinical operations. An exciting opportunity is available to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Medical Management Facilitator. If you thrive in complex health environments and bring a sharp eye for process and medical administration, this is a role where your work directly shapes care delivery across the northern Adelaide community. Your Role in the Division

You will provide senior administrative and clinical governance oversight across the Division of Medicine at Lyell McEwin Health Service. Key responsibilities include:

- Coordinating and facilitating medical management processes including medical rosters, medical recruitment and leave management.
- Supporting workforce planning, credentialling, and medical staff performance processes
- Ensure the effective and efficient operation of medical administration functions within the Division
- Contributing to quality, safety, and accreditation activities aligned with SA Health standards

This is a full-time, fixed-term contract position through to 13 August 2027. What You Bring
- Demonstrated experience in medical administration within a complex public health environment
- Experience in organising a roster and rotation system
- Sound understanding of clinical governance frameworks and contemporary healthcare policy in South Australia
- Strong communication skills with the capacity to influence at both clinical and executive levels
- Familiarity with SA Health credentialling and medical workforce processes will be highly regarded

Our Local Health Network Sites and Services:

NALHN provides a range of hospital (inpatient), outpatient, community and home-based services across multiple sites in Adelaide's north and north-eastern suburbs, including Aboriginal health, mental health, and GP services.

Lyell McEwin Hospital - the major hospital in northern Adelaide for emergency care, complex and multi-day surgery, medicine, obstetric, paediatrics and outpatient services.

Modbury Hospital - a general hospital with emergency care, elective surgery, medicine, outpatient and sub-acute services, rehabilitation, geriatric and palliative care.

Mental Health Services - adult and older persons mental health services and statewide forensic mental health services, across hospital and community settings.





Watto Purrunna Aboriginal Primary Health Care Services - provides culturally responsive primary healthcare services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in-hospital and across four community sites.

Primary Health Care Services - including GP Plus sites at Elizabeth, Modbury and Gilles Plains.
