Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures
- Provide guidance to the Care Companions and Household Coordinator
- Work in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures
Qualifications
- A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
- Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar
- Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
- Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
- Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues
- Strong coaching/training skills
- Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Competent IT skills
