About the Roles
Working across mine sites in Queensland, you'll carry out planned maintenance, breakdown repairs, shutdown maintenance and major component change outs on a range of heavy mining equipment.
Depending on your trade and experience, you'll work on equipment including:
- Draglines
- Shovels
- Excavators
- Dozers
- Haul Trucks
- Loaders
- Ancillary Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME)
- Fixed Plant Equipment
Key Responsibilities
- Planned preventative maintenance
- Breakdown diagnosis and repairs
- Shutdown maintenance
- Fault finding and troubleshooting
- Major component change-outs and rebuilds
- Equipment inspections and servicing
- Complete job reports and maintenance documentation
- Work safely in accordance with site and company procedures
What You'll Need
Essential
- Relevant Australian Trade Qualification
- Experience maintaining heavy mining equipment
- Strong mechanical or electrical fault finding skills
- Current Driver Licence
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Highly Regarded
- Shovel and/or Dragline maintenance experience
- Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) experience
- Standard 11
- Coal Board Medical
- High Risk Work Licences
- Mine site experience
