Finance Manager, Financial Accounting & Reporting

Our client, a highly respected Fund Manager, is seeking an accomplished Finance Manager to take ownership of Financial Reporting, Tax, Compliance, and Operations. This is a senior leadership role within a dynamic investment environment, offering the chance to shape financial governance, strengthen operational frameworks, and drive strategic outcomes across the business.

The Role as Finance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, compliance with regulatory and tax obligations, and the smooth running of operational processes. You will act as a key partner to senior stakeholders, providing insights that support decision-making and safeguard investor confidence.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS and local GAAP.
- Present financial results and analysis to senior management and the Board.
- Oversee consolidation of fund entities and ensure accuracy of NAV calculations.

Tax & Compliance

- Manage tax planning, reporting, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Liaise with external advisors and regulators to ensure obligations are met.
- Monitor evolving regulatory requirements and implement necessary changes.
- Maintain robust internal controls and risk management frameworks.

Operations





- Oversee fund operations including cash management, reconciliations, and investor reporting.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy across operational workflows.
- Collaborate with custodians, administrators, and auditors to ensure seamless service delivery.

Leadership & Transformation

- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives across reporting, compliance, and operations.
- Support strategic projects including system upgrades, structural transitions, and operational transformation.

About You

- Fully qualified accountant (CA/CPA/ACA or equivalent).
- Significant experience in fund management, asset management, or financial services.
- Strong technical expertise in financial reporting, tax, and compliance frameworks.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
- Commercial acumen and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
