Northern Beaches & Mosman College (NBMC) is seeking an experienced, motivated and engaging Early Childhood Education & Care Trainer & Assessor to deliver high-quality training and assessment on a contract/casual basis. This is a part-time contract position based at our Brookvale Campus, NSW, 2100, delivering the nationally accredited Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care CHC30125.

The contract position is delivered one day per week, on Fridays from 9:30am to 3:30pm, commencing early August 2026. As training is delivered in person at the Brookvale Campus, the successful candidate must be available to attend and teach on site each week.

No classes are held during NSW school holidays.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Face to face delivery to students
- Conducting marking and recording student assessments
- Providing student support
- Work placement visits
- Participate in validation
- Maintenance of all aspects of compliance related to working in an RTO environment

Required qualifications: Appropriate industry qualification and experience as defined by the Standards for RTOs 2025 and relevant Training Package plus relevant training qualification (Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or as defined in the Credential Policy).

Preferred:





- Be an experienced trainer/assessor preferably with recent training experience in the qualification working for an RTO or an experienced school teacher at high school level interested in moving into adult education. (Refer to the Credential Policy for qualifications requirements).
- Passionate about adult education and the relevant subject matter.
- Highly professional with solid interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Enthusiastic, well-presented, and self-motivated
- Be a well presented, self-motivated individual who is bright and enthusiastic with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Have excellent presentation skills; including a positive and professional work manner
