Who are we?

Who are we looking for?

Applications are invited from Allied Health Professionals in Training who are interested in being considered for fixed‑term full‑time, part‑time or casual employment for periods of up to 12 months.

Employment of Allied Health Professionals in Training is for students in their final years of a tertiary qualification or programme of study who are registered as a student with the relevant National Board or professional association.

These opportunities span hospital services, community health, and statewide mental health services, offering flexibility, career development, and exposure to diverse clinical settings.

- Orthotist/Prosthetist
- Pharmacist
- Physiotherapist
- Podiatrist
- Radiographer
- Social Worker
- Speech Pathologist

Other allied health professional groups are also welcome if you hold appropriate registration or accreditation.

The register will remain open until 30 June 2028 and will be reviewed on a regular basis. Inclusion on this register does not preclude other allied health positions being advertised separately.

Salary

Salary range: $72,076 – $75,114 per annum (pro rata). Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

Eligibility

- Currently enrolled in the final year of an approved allied health professional tertiary qualification or programme of study and registered with the relevant National Board as a student or, in the case of self‑regulated allied health professions, eligible for student membership with the relevant qualified association.
- Current driver’s licence (desirable).
