Adelaide Mums and Babies Clinic is a well-established, privately owned general practice dedicated to caring for women, babies and families through pregnancy, the postnatal period, early childhood and beyond.
Our team of GPs, nurses, midwives and administration professionals are passionate about delivering evidence-based, compassionate healthcare in a warm, welcoming and supportive environment. We pride ourselves on building genuine relationships with families and providing thoughtful, collaborative care that helps parents feel informed, reassured and supported.
As our clinic continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our clinical team in a casual capacity, working a minimum of 2 days per week across our Rose Park and Ashford clinics.
This is a unique opportunity for a Registered Nurse who enjoys working across a broad scope of general practice nursing while supporting women, babies and young families. You will become an integral member of our team, providing compassionate, evidence-based care across treatment room nursing, clinical assessment, patient education, immunisations, telephone triage, care planning and preventative health initiatives.
We welcome applications from experienced Registered Nurses with backgrounds in Emergency, Paediatrics, General Practice or other acute clinical settings. Nurses with experience in primary care, preventative health or chronic disease management are also encouraged to apply.
If you also hold registration as a Midwife, that would be highly regarded, however, this role is first and foremost a nursing position within a family-centred general practice.
About the Role
Working closely with our GPs, nurses, midwives and administration team, you will help deliver safe, responsive and patient-centred care across a diverse range of clinical services.
Your responsibilities will include

- Assessing the urgency of presentations and coordinating timely appointments or escalation to a GP when required
- Providing evidence-based advice and reassurance to patients within your scope of practice
- Childhood and adult immunisations
- Treatment room nursing, including assisting with procedures and clinical care.
- Health assessments and contributing to care planning and chronic disease management.
- Supporting postnatal mothers and newborns as part of our Neuroprotective Developmental model of care.
- Infection prevention and control, and treatment room management
- Maintaining clinical stock and equipment
- Participating in quality improvement and accreditation activities
- Supporting a welcoming, compassionate and productive patient experience across both our locations
About You You are a compassionate, organised and clinically confident Registered Nurse who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care.
You will bring
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Current Working With Children Check and National Police Check
- Current CPR certification
- Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication skills with a warm, empathetic and professional approach
- Confidence recognising when escalation or medical review is required
