Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Create Alert Senior Manager, Business Systems and Operations Department/Agency: Department of Communities and Justice Location: Parramatta, NSW, AU, 2150 Infrastructure and Assets Employment type: Ongoing, Full Time Salary: Clerk Grade 11/12 ($154,231 - $178,369 pa), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading Your role The Senior Manager, Business Systems and Operations is responsible for providing strategic leadership in the design, implementation and oversight of systems, tools and frameworks that support effective business and management functions. This includes information and data management, project assurance and reporting, financial management and procurement. The role drives efficient, consistent and integrated business practices across the Strategy, Innovation and Sustainability team, enabling informed decision making and supporting the delivery of strategic priorities and operational objectives.

This is a unique opportunity for a Senior Manager to join a multi-disciplinary team and lead business system improvements and optimisation. What you’ll do - Design, implement and continuously improve systems, tools and frameworks that support access to accurate, reliable and timely information and data and enable efficient business operations.

- Provide strategic insight and analysis on emerging drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities that may impact DCJ’s assets and services to support long-term planning and decision-making.
- Build and maintain robust partnerships with key stakeholders across DCJ, government agencies, and external partners to foster collaboration and drive integrated outcomes.
- Deliver high-quality advice and reporting to executive leadership, Ministers, and governance bodies on strategic priorities, risks, and performance across relevant domains.




- Lead team building and management activities to drive capability uplift, improve performance and ensure achievement of organisational objectives.
