About the role

InterContinental Planet Trekkers Kid’s Club caters to little travelers aged 4-12 years old, presenting a fun-filled indoor playroom and a collection of education and destination-inspired experiences around the resort. We currently have an opportunity for an experienced childcare facilitator to join the team and assist in the day to day running of the operation on island.

As Kid’s Club Supervisor, you will provide high quality childcare, within a positive, safe,



and happy environment for our valued guest and staff children, coordinating the day-to-day operations of Kids Club and ensure it complies with health, safety, lisencing regulations, and quality improvement. You will:

- Supervise small and large groups of children aged from six weeks to twelve years.
- Assist in the planning of the School Holiday Program for the Kids Club, providing a program that is both age appropriate and follows guidelines set out by Family Services.
- Interview & train new staff members, ensuring they meet all policies & legal requirements.
- Assist the Activities Manager when required and assist with duties on request of other colleagues when needed.

About you

We are looking for enthusiastic and professional team players who knows how to deliver great service and exceed guest expectations. Ideally you will have:

- Experience – a minimum of 2-3 years in a similar leadership role in a childcare/creche/kids club setting.
- Qualifications – Cert IV or Diploma level qualification in childcare or similar and hold a current Blue Card.
- Communication skills – guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments,



so you’ll be easy to talk to.
- Flexibility - night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job.
