Job Description

Oaks Lake Crackenback Resort is excited to expand our Food & Beverage department and Housekeeping with multiple casual dual role opportunities now available.

We’re looking for a dedicated and detail‑oriented individual who takes pride in their work and is committed to providing an exceptional guest experience. If you’re energetic, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a team‑oriented environment, we’d love to have you on board.

Key Responsibilities

Food & Beverage Service

- Taking guest orders: accurately and attentively recording orders to accommodate guest preferences.
- Menu expertise and recommendations: confidently recommending food and beverage options.
- Serving food & beverages: providing professional and efficient service while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Delivering exceptional customer service: engaging warmly with guests, promptly addressing their needs, and striving to exceed their expectations.

Guest Room Cleaning

- Thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.
- Completing daily cleaning tasks efficiently within the allocated hours.
- Collaborating with team members to meet cleaning targets and operational goals.

Shift Details (subject to change)

- Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday.




- Shifts starting between 8:00 am and 9:00 am.

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation)

- Monday – Friday: $33.85 per hour.
- Saturday: $40.62 per hour.
- Sunday: $47.39 per hour.

Qualifications

- Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided).
- Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors.
- Strong time‑management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
