This role will have no direct reports.1.3. Scope of RoleThe Procurement Lead is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, negotiating procurement events of goods, materials, utilities and building services contracts for multiple clients across Australia. Our clients include federal and state governments as well as private, public and non-profit organisations.1.4. Key RelationshipsInternal Relationships: Shared services procurement team, client embedded procurement personnel, account managers, facilities managers, legal, risk, HSE, sustainability, corporate, commercial, bid and transitions team and finance)External Relationships: Contractors, clients and third-party organisations1.5. Job PurposeThe purpose is to ensure probity, ethical sourcing practice, streamlined stakeholder management for the timely delivery and diverse supplier engagement as well as year-on-year reduction in controllable operating expenses whilst contributing to a high performing culture.1.6. AccountabilitiesKey Result AreaMajor ActivitiesCultivate and manage client relationships to thoroughly understand their requirementsConduct monthly procurement pipeline meetingsDevelop and annually review the procurement plan and strategies in alignment with client agreement and policiesSeek opportunities for improved service delivery to the clientAttend internal meetings as requiredFinancial acumenAnalyse client spendUnderstand market trendsConduct benchmarking activitiesCommercial evaluationConduct market activitiesCollate background dataMarket soundingPrepare and execute procurement strategiesPrepare and compile RFx documentationAssist in drafting client specific statement of requirements and service specific scope of worksManage conflicts of interest and confidentiality documentationUse of eTendering platformCollate submissionsChair Tender Evaluation Committee MeetingsConduct technical and commercial evaluationsConduct negotiations in consultation with stakeholdersPrepare recommendations for client approvalDraft, issue and execute agreementsDraft and issue award/ non-award lettersConduct debriefsAssist in transition-in as requiredComprehensive records retentionReportingAd hoc reports on spend, social engagement, supplier capabilities from internal resourcesMonthly client specific contractual reporting – where requiredESGActively participate in C&W; ESG targets including conducting up-to-date slavery auditsPromote engagement with Indigenous owned business and social enterprisesAbility to align with clients ESG targets and requirementsOtherPerforms other duties as requested by your direct managerOccasional requirement to work extended hours during peak times or to assist with major functions/eventsDevelopment of operational standards / playbooks / operating manuals for all aspects of the businessGeneral ResponsibilitiesArticulate and live the Cushman & Wakefield culture, model organisational values and required behaviour and hold others (employees and peers) accountable for their actions by identifying and acting on behaviour which is inconsistent with agreed standardsComply with all Cushman & Wakefield systems that are in place to meet the ethical sourcing and health and safety obligations of the organisationWork safely and avoid placing yourself or anyone else’s health and safety at risk by your acts or omissionsComply with Cushman & Wakefield Environmental policies and adhere to procedures and work instructions that are relevant to your activitiesActively participate within a community or practice group by sharing information and strategies that result in the best outcomes for the client and Cushman & WakefieldUnderstand the Cushman & Wakefield brand and expertise of services delivered to ensure all opportunities to provide a full-service offer to clients and staff is availableComply with Cushman & Wakefield policyAdherence to client policies.1.7. Background & ExperienceProcurement Management: at least 3-5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field specific to building services (hard, soft, utilities and panel) and preferably in a managerial or supervisory role. Demonstrated advanced knowledge of the Procurement Life Cycle.Client Relationship Management:



Proven experience in developing and managing client relationships in complex environments. Previous experience in government agencies would be advantageous.Strategic Planning and Execution: Experience in developing and implementing procurement plans and strategies, including annual reviews and adjustments.Financial Acumen: Ability to interpret financial data, understanding financial consequences, evaluating financial performance, assessing financial results and proven cost reduction achievements.Supplier Diversity: Experience in promoting and engaging diverse suppliers.1.8.
