We're on the lookout for reliable, energetic Casual Ops Crew to join our events team and help make it all happen behind the scenes.
About the role
This is a hands-on, on-the-ground role for people who like to stay busy and be part of the action. You'll be helping set up, run, and pack down catering and event operations across a range of venues and events, no two shifts are quite the same. It's a great opportunity if you're after flexible, casual work with plenty of variety, travel and the chance to be part of some of the country's biggest live events.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting with setup, prep, and pack-down across event sites
- Supporting service delivery to keep things running smoothly
- Re-stocking and maintaining outlets and work areas to a high standard
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures at all times
- Working as part of a team,
pitching in wherever you're needed on the day
- Following directions from supervisors and team leaders to keep the shift on track
What you'll bring
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to get stuck in
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment
- Reliability, turning up on time and ready to go
- Safe Food Handlers' Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Forklift license (essential)
- White Card (essential)
- Versatile availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays around major events
- Previous hospitality or events experience is a bonus but not essential, we'll help you learn the ropes
- A sound understanding of operations and logistics
- Willingness to travel, dependant on events calendar.
