Hunter New England Local Health District is seeking capable and motivated Senior Resident Medical Officers (SRMOs) to support their Emergency Departments across a range of rural and regional hospitals.
You'll gain critical experience managing acute presentations under the guidance of FACEMs or senior registrars.

Clinical Environment - What You'll Gain:
- Manage a wide spectrum of emergency cases, from minor injuries to medical resuscitation
- Supervision and escalation pathways with on-site or on-call FACEMs or CMOs
- Learn from multidisciplinary teams including nurses, retrieval, and allied health
- Structured shifts with time for teaching, supervision, and documentation
- Opportunities to practice procedural skills including suturing, cannulation, and advanced life support

Eligibility Criteria:
- General AHPRA Registration
- PGY2+ with recent emergency or acute medicine experience
- NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
- Australian working rights
- Willingness to complete onboarding and credentialing
