**The Role**:
Thrive, Coniston is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Centre Manager (2IC) who will work true to our mission statement “Thrive is committed to excellence in early education”.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in a 2IC role to support the Centre Leader in the day to day running of the centre.
This role offers you an opportunity to join a dynamic early learning group that offers a supportive peer network and a host of professional development and career progression opportunities across our network of centres.
**Your key priorities will be to**:
- Assist the Centre Leader in all aspects of service operations
- Maintain and implement centre policies and procedures
- Identify and assist team members in a leadership capacity
- Facilitate leadership and educator engagement
- Build strong relationships with children and families
**About The Centre**
Thrive Coniston, located in the suburb of Wollongong is close to public transport and offers street parking.
One of Thrive's biggest centres at 112 places, the team have been working hard to create new and inclusive learning areas both inside the centre and in their large natural outdoor environment using their recently received brand-new furniture and resources.
Thrive Coniston is made up of a team that is dedicated to providing quality early education and care for the children in the community.
**Your skills and qualifications should include**:
- Bachelor of Teaching (or working towards) or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care qualification
- A strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer and technology skills
