It is one of the most well-maintained farms in the area and we insist on providing employee a friendly and positive work setting. This 12 sheds chicken farm farm is a fully automatic, up-to-date facility with shedding capacity for 370,000 birds per batch. The farm is located 45 minutes from Adelaide CBD, easy access to shopping centers, pubs and local schools.

Qualifications & experience
Be able to perform repetitive bending and lifting you will be standing on your feet for the majority of your shift
Be available for a 7-day roster and weekend work
A proven track record of reliability, hard work and willingness to deliver
Have current drivers licence and reliable transport




Prior farming experience would be highly regarded but not essential
Have robust safety focus and quarantine awareness, making sure environmental and quarantine standards are strictly adhered to

Tasks & responsibilities
Placing baby birds into shed Dead Run Maintenance duties Calibrate sensors, repairs to feed pans/water dispensers Weighing Birds Clean out sheds Slashing & weed spraying Cleaning duties and maintaining a clean work space

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
