About the role

We have a excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Receptionist/ Administration Officer with experience in the medical industry to join us on a casual basis. Monday to Friday, no overnights or public holidays.

Duties and responsibilities

- Ensure a high level of patient and visitor care, acting as the first point of contact for the hospital
- Ensure all admission and discharge documentation is accurately recorded
- Ensure all patient accounts are invoiced, receipted and reconciled
- Manage theatre bookings and ensure lists are distributed accordingly
- Liaise with health funds and complete checks
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety and excellence across all areas of the hospital

About you

- Experience in an administrative role within a medical, healthcare or hospital setting essential
- A high level of computer / technical skills, particularly Microsoft Office and Patient Management Software
- Experience in FYDO or SimDay desirable but not essential
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with patients, doctors, staff and other stakeholders
- Solid time management, organisational and communication skills
