About the role

We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Administration Manager with a strong background in hospital environments to lead our hospital administration support services at North Lakes Day Hospital. This is a Full-time role Monday to Friday.

Duties and responsibilities

This role will see you working collaboratively with both the administrative and clinical teams, as well as liaising with our 3 Support Offices.

As Administration Manager, you will:

- Lead, mentor, and support the Hospital Administration team in a busy, patient-focused environment
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and quality frameworks
- Manage all aspects of hospital administration including bookings, pre-admissions, front and back-office functions
- Working closely with the General Manager/ Director Nursing to support the multi-disciplinary team and to guide operational efficiency
- Oversee building maintenance requests, supply chain processes, and register management
- Drive a positive and collaborative culture across the administration team and wider hospital

About you

You are a natural leader with exceptional communication and organisational skills, committed to delivering outstanding patient experiences. You will also bring:

- Previous experience in a short-stay, day surgery,



or hospital environment
- Strong stakeholder management and team leadership experience
- Knowledge of health fund contracting and the Australian Private Health System
- Proficiency in Patient Administration Software (preferably FYDO/ SimDay)
- Sound knowledge of medical terminology
- Commercial acumen with strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities with high attention to detail
- Passion for providing exceptional customer service in a healthcare setting
