Sous Chef / Kitchen Manager (Leadership Role) — ALL DAY, West End

We're a busy all-day venue in West End (coffee, brunch, wine) looking for a senior kitchen professional to take full ownership of daily kitchen operations. Depending on experience, this role can operate at Kitchen Manager or Head Chef scope.

This is a hands-on leadership role, not just cooking. The right person will keep the kitchen running smoothly day-to-day, manage ordering and prep, maintain standards, and drive consistency without heavy owner involvement.

About ALL DAY

ALL DAY is a neighbourhood brunch venue centred around good produce, specialty coffee, cocktails and an easy-going Australian café culture. We run a tight and effective small kitchen team focused on consistency and calm service. We're established, growing, and focused on service, consistency, and relaxed hospitality.

Café and brunch cuisine experience is essential for this role.

Role responsibilities

- Lead day-to-day kitchen operations

- Run the pass during service

- Oversee prep systems and organisation

- Manage ordering and stock levels

- Maintain food safety and compliance

- Train and support kitchen staff

- Manage waste,



portioning, and consistency

- Seasonal menu

Ideal background

- Experienced Sous Chef looking to step up

Hours & culture

- Full-time

- Daytime roster (approx. 6.30am–3pm)

- Weekends required (rotating)

Salary

$75k–95k + super depending on experience and scope of role.
Title flexible (Kitchen Manager / Head Chef).
