Overview:
Seafuel is a vibrant seafood restaurant situated in the heart of West End, known for its fresh catch and relaxing atmosphere. We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable wait staff to join our team and deliver outstanding service to our patrons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, present menus, and provide detailed information about menu items and daily specials.
- Order Management: Take customer orders accurately, input them into the POS system, and relay special requests to the kitchen staff.
- Service Excellence: Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring a high standard of presentation and satisfaction.
- Ambiance Maintenance: Keep the dining area clean and organized, resetting tables promptly after guests leave and maintaining a pleasant atmosphere.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside kitchen staff and fellow wait staff to ensure smooth operations and efficient service during peak times.
- Problem Resolution: Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation practices.
- Payment Transactions: Process bills accurately and handle cash and electronic payments in accordance with restaurant policies.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
Prior experience in wait staff or a customer service role is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact pleasantly and effectively with guests and team members.
- Team Experience: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Customer Focus: Passionate about delivering excellent customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Adaptability: Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple tables efficiently.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift trays and equipment, stand for long periods, and navigate a busy restaurant space.
