The role
Join our Infrastructure Projects team on a 12-month fixed-term contract and play akey role in shaping the City’s future.
You’ll support a wide rangeof planning projects - conducting site investigations, preparingdesigns, coordinating tenders, and administering contracts toensure compliance and quality delivery. Working closely withinternal teams, State Authorities, utilities, contractors and thecommunity, you’ll help develop strategies, masterplans andproject scopes that guide long-term infrastructure outcomes. Thisrole offers variety, meaningful project involvement, and the chanceto build strong stakeholder relationships while contributing to apositive, safe and high-performing team environment.
About You
You’re an experiencedengineering professional with a strong grasp of infrastructureplanning, design and construction, and demonstrated projectmanagement capability. You excel at preparing clear, detailedreports and communicating effectively with a wide range ofaudiences. Skilled in negotiation and stakeholder engagement, youbuild constructive relationships with internal teams, externalagencies, utilities and the community to achieve projectobjectives.
Your professional approach, stronginterpersonal skills and ability to influence with confidenceensure you represent the City effectively while keepingstakeholders informed, aligned and engaged throughout eachproject.
You will have a relevant tertiaryqualification in an engineering field, a current driver’slicence, and experience within a local government engineeringenvironment is desirable.
