The Opportunity: Leasing Manager – WeAreLiving Preston
Step into a landmark role as our new Preston community launches in Melbourne’s North.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Leasing Manager with a strong property background to take the lead in delivering a refined leasing strategy, driving occupancy, and setting a new benchmark for resident experience.
In this role, you will lead leasing performance, elevate customer service standards,
and create a seamless and joyful journey for every prospective and current resident.
Your commercial insight, operational capability, and people-first approach will be key drivers in the success of this flagship property.
Your Impact
As Leasing Manager, you will:
- Craft an exceptional resident experience that prioritises service, security, and moments of genuine connection
- Execute leasing strategies to optimise rental returns, maximise occupancy, and achieve retention targets
- Implement and uphold property procedures that support efficient and compliant operations
- Deliver a premium end-to-end leasing journey - from enquiry to move-in - aligned with our service and brand values
- Build strong resident relationships to support renewal outcomes and foster a thriving community
- Provide accurate reporting, market insights, and recommendations to guide strategic decisions
- Contribute to a joyful, positive workplace where empathy and connection shape every resident interaction
About the Property:
WeAreLiving – Preston Located just 10km from the Melbourne CBD and positioned on Time Out’s Best High Street in the World, WeAreLiving Preston is a design-led, amenity-rich BTR community.

About You
With a background in property, you understand rental market drivers, pricing strategies, commercial performance, and what it takes to deliver a premium customer experience.
You’re confident, collaborative, and committed to excellence.
You will also bring:
- Proven leasing experience within residential, commercial, or retail property
- Robust financial and commercial acumen, with a focus on performance, occupancy, and profitability
- Leadership qualities rooted in empathy, communication, and service excellence
- Experience in building management, including stakeholder coordination and operational oversight
- Understanding of relevant property legislation
- High attention to detail, with the ability to meet - and exceed - KPIs
- A positive mindset that brings joy to your team and residents
- A valid Full Real Estate Licence - or willing to obtain
- Unrestricted Australian working rights
- Current National Police Check
