Casual Educator – Busy Bees at Belmont
Location: Belmont, VIC
Licensed Capacity: 124 places
Casual Hourly Rate: $36.96 – $45.51 (WT 2.1 to 3.4, including casual loading)
Busy Bees at Belmont is looking for flexible and enthusiastic Casual Educators to join our team. With a strong community reputation and a beautifully designed learning environment, this centre offers an excellent opportunity for educators who enjoy variety and thrive in fast-paced, supportive settings.
About the Role
As a Casual Educator, you will:
- Step into different rooms and support permanent staff with daily routines and transitions
- Assist in delivering play-based learning aligned with the EYLF
- Be available for flexible shifts between 6:30am and 6:30pm, Monday to Friday
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Bring energy, adaptability and initiative to every shift
What You’ll Need
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or actively working toward it)
- Experience working with children in an Early Learning environment (desirable but not essential)
- Working with Children Check (Employee) – VIC requirement
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
- Child Protection/Mandatory Reporting training
- Availability to work across a variety of shifts during operating hours
- A positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to support the team wherever needed
