Project Engineer – Fulton Hogan
Fulton Hogan and our joint venture partners are delivering the contract for the central package of the Coomera Connector Stage 1, a 6‑lane, 8‑kilometre section of the project between Helensvale Road and Smith Street Motorway. Funded by the Queensland and Australian governments, the $2.16 billion Coomera Connector Stage 1 is Queensland’s largest road infrastructure project, set to alleviate lengthy travel times and congested traffic for road users along the critical path.
About the role
- Support the successful delivery of the project ensuring technical excellence, cost efficiency and timely completion.
- Develop various packages and partner with key stakeholders and the supply chain to implement handover processes and deliverables for multi‑disciplinary works in accordance with relevant specifications.
- Manage interfaces and coordinate resources, building strong relationships and key networks across a diverse and complex environment.
- Prioritise safety for all, commit to high productivity and ensure that project planning, resources, budgets and timelines are met.
- Be comfortable making decisions,
taking initiative and working night‑shift and night‑shift conditions as required.
Qualifications
- Suitable engineering qualification and experience as a Project Engineer.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Flexibility to work night‑shift and TMR experience considered advantageous.
