Your Role as Enrolled Nurse
- Deliver holistic care and support to guests and families following relevant care plans and under the supervision of the clinical team.
- Observe, monitor, interpret, document and report signs and symptoms.
- Medication administration.
- Contribute to the formulation and implementation of care plans.
- Assist in the orientation of new staff.
- Participate in activities with guests as required and outlined by relevant practitioners.
- Deliver care, which is family‑centred, evidence based and meets all statutory requirements.
- Support guests with all aspects of daily living, including personal care, light domestic duties and social/community participation.
- Provide guests with a physically and emotionally secure environment and promote their physical, intellectual, emotional, social, cultural and spiritual well‑being.
- Act promptly should any changes to a guest’s condition be observed, seeking advice from the relevant clinical staff as appropriate.
What We’re Looking For
- AHPRA Registration.
- Ability to provide high‑level nursing care within the Enrolled Nurse Scope of Practice.
- Demonstrated passion and commitment to connecting the community to the mission and vision of Hopewell Hospice.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality, discretion and professionalism ensuring that the dignity and rights of guests and families are respected at all times.
- Proven high‑level teamwork and collaboration skills to achieve objectives and promote positive working relationships.
- Enthusiasm and highly effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in supporting people with illness and complex and chronic care needs.
- Proof of COVID‑19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy).
- Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy.
- Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel for work.
