We are looking for fun, enthusiastic and hardworking Casual Support Workers to join our team!
About the role
In this role, you will offer assistance to individuals with disabilities, enabling them to lead independent lives, nurturing their social well-being. Your primary focus will be on helping our participants attain their individual objectives and enjoy fulfilling lives within our community.
Key responsibilities
- Supporting our participants to achieve their goals
- Transporting participants between services and activities
- Promote independent decision making
- Helping participants to develop new skills
- Exploring hobbies or new interests with participants
- Assist participants within their home
- Working closely and collaboratively with participants to explore their needs, put support in place and create opportunities to enhance their wellbeing and growth
Skills and Qualifications
- NDIS worker screening clearance (or ability to obtain)
- NDIS Induction Modules
- Current Drivers Licence
- Proof of vehicle registration
- Right to work in Australia
- Ability to work both without supervision and as part of a team
- Ability to work on short notice, weekends, and nights
