A career prospect is available for an experienced Warehouse Officer to join the Griffin Coal team.
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Senior Supply Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking issuing, receipting and warehouse activities to provide all goods and services required by the operation.
Duties may include:
- Performing ordering functions within budget and on time.
- Loading and unloading freight.
- Ensuring customer needs are met promptly and all queries are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Conducting stocktakes and document results.
- Perform housekeeping duties and assist/support repairs and maintenance of warehouse facilities.
EXPERIENCE
The preferred candidate will have:
- Resource industry experience.
- Competence in Manual Handling, Dangerous and Hazardous Materials Handling and Materials Management.
- Demonstrated use of procurement or ERP systems (Pronto preferred).
- Demonstrated use of Microsoft Office business programs.
THE LOCATION & LIFESTYLE
Griffin Coal Ewington Mine is located near Collie, a town which is located 45 minutes from the coastal city of Bunbury and 2.5 hours from the capital city of Perth, Western Australia. This is a residential role and as such no relocation package is being offered.
