As NPE continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated, hands‑on Dewatering Technician to join our Projects team in Perth. This role involves the assembly, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of field‑based systems across the water, wastewater, mining, and civil sectors.
Primarily field‑based, you’ll work across rural WA, with workshop time between projects to prepare equipment and materials. You’ll also support mobilisation and demobilisation of plant and equipment in line with operational requirements.
Qualifications
- Current Driver’s Licence
- General Construction Induction (White Card) ticket,High riskForklift Licence (LF)(or willing to obtain)
- High levelof accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work with flexibility and initiative with limited direction or supervision
- Patient, versatile and adaptable to changing and challenging circumstances with great problem‑solving skills
- Excellent time management and an ability to juggle multiple competing priorities
- Ability to work well with other team members and champion the NPE brand
- Previousexperience in aMine/Civilindustry with ground dewatering,pipelayingor sewer pump station operations
- Experience in Rental, Construction or Heavy industries
- HR Licence
- Poly Welding Ticket
- Confined Space Entry Ticket
- Working from Heights Ticket
- Relevant Trade Certificate wouldadvantageous(i.e. Plumbing)
- Previousexperience in a Mining environment with dewatering operations
