Youngster.co is a certified social enterprise startup with a purpose. We believe in the power of community and technology to bridge generational gaps.

The Youngster.co program brings young people and seniors together in shopping centres, libraries, retirement villages, and other locations for intergenerational tech help sessions. Youngsters provide personalised tech help for seniors, including how to use their phone, do video calls, connect on social media, etc.

**The Role**

We are looking for people aged 18 and over who are friendly, patient, and comfortable with everyday technology to assist senior members at Kensington Housing in Victoria. The target participants of the program are Vietnamese seniors. The sessions are held weekly on Monday from 10AM to 1PM.

**Work Arrangement & Hours**

On site at Kensington, Victoria
3 hours/ week (Mondays from 10:00AM - 1:00PM) starting 2nd of March 2026

**Key Responsibilities**
- Attend our 3-hour weekly learning sessions to assist seniors with tech-related queries and issues, such as smartphone, tablet, or computer troubleshooting.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms and demonstrate patience when teaching.
- Foster a friendly, respectful, and supportive setting for both seniors and youngsters.
- Contribute ideas and feedback to continually improve our sessions and outreach.

- Regular Youngsters need to be a minimum of 18 years old and must possess a valid National Police Check

$26.00 - $35.00 per hour
