St Peter’s is a growing, Bible-based Anglican Church in the Weston Creek-Molonglo region of Canberra, part of the Anglican Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn.

We are seeking a church planter to lead the foundation of a recent congregation in the Molonglo Valley—Canberra's fastest growing region.

The role begins in January 2026, with a one-year residency at St Peter’s, to pray and plan for the launch of the church, gather a launch team, build relationships and develop skills. Public church services will likely start in late 2026 or early 2027. The congregation will meet at Stromlo Forest Anglican College in Wright.
be a mature and wholehearted disciple of the Lord Jesus




have Bachelor-level theological qualifications (or in the final year of attaining such qualifications in 2025)
be an ordained Anglican, or willing to join the ordination process of the Anglican Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn
have a demonstrated ability as a Christian leader and teacher of God's word.
