We are seeking an experienced and motivated **Assistant Venue Manager** to join the leadership team at **The Heart Applecross**, part of ELG Australia.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on hospitality professional to help lead a high-volume, premium venue and support the Venue Manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences, strong team culture, and consistent operational standards.

**About the Role**

As Assistant Venue Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the venue, including supporting service, managing staff, and ensuring operational excellence across all departments.

You will be expected to lead from the front in a rapid-paced environment and maintain a strong focus on service standards, team performance, and compliance.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support the Venue Manager in daily operations of the venue
- Lead, roster, and manage front-of-house and/or back-of-house teams
- Drive high standards of customer service and guest experience
- Oversee compliance with RSA, WHS, and company policies
- Assist with training, onboarding, and staff development




- Manage service periods and step into leadership during peak trade
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and wage targets
- Support venue presentation, cleanliness, and operational readiness

**About You**
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in hospitality
- Robust leadership skills with a hands-on approach
- Ability to perform under pressure in a busy venue
- Excellent communication and team management skills
- Strong understanding of service standards and compliance requirements
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences

**Location**

Pay: $62,012.11 - $100,000.00 per year
