Automotive Technician -Full Time- MANAGER POSITION

We are looking for a highly skilled, fully qualified Automotive Technician to step into a key role within our business and take ownership of workshop management and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Monday - Friday 8am-5pm (NO WEEKEND WORK)

Responsibilities:

- Manage daily workshop operations, ensuring efficient workflow and timely job completion
- Supervise, lead, and support a team of technicians and apprentices
- Allocate work based on skills, workload, and priority
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality control, and safety
- Diagnose and assist with complex mechanical issues when required
- Log-book Servicing, minor and major services
- Manage parts inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships
- Prepare and approve repair estimates, quotes, and invoice
- Handle customer enquiries, concerns, and service updates professionally

Qualifications:

- Fully qualified Automotive Mechanic (Australian recognized certificate ONLY).
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in vehicles
- MUST have Manual license
- Own tools
- Confident communicator with a customer-first attitude
- Demonstrates the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
- Experience with Subaru and Toyota (desirable not a must)
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a qualified mechanic is required
