The opportunity In this role you will work collaboratively within an Inclusive Education team to improve learning outcomes for students with speech, language and communication vulnerabilities. You will support student outcomes through appropriate assessment and the implementation of evidence-based intervention within a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) framework, while mentoring staff to strengthen practice and support consistent service delivery. Your knowledge and experience in contemporary, evidence-based speech pathology practices will assist schools to identify and implement reasonable adjustments within inclusive teaching practices.

You will collaborate with other allied health professionals and members of the Education Services team to maximise learning outcomes and support students' access to, participation in and progression through their learning.





Please note this role will require regular travel to a range of schools across the Diocese, including overnight stays.

About You

- Effective relationship building and influencing skills.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in Paediatric Speech Pathology practice.
- Able to travel regularly to a range of schools across the Diocese, including overnight stays.
- Possession of a Bachelor degree in Speech Pathology from a recognised tertiary institution, or other equivalent formal qualifications which is acceptable.
- Eligibility for certified practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
- Hold a current Paid Blue Card for working with children issued by Blue Card Services or be eligible to obtain one prior to commencing in this role.
