**About the Centre/Service**

Camberwell Baptist Church Kindergarten exists to communicate God's love to children and their families through provision of a high quality, community focussed, educationally appropriate program that is shaped around a Christian perspective and ethos within the local area of Camberwell and East Hawthorn. We are a stand alone sessional kindergarten and rated as an “exceeding” centre. We seek to provide a happy, caring and secure workplace in accordance with our motto “Caring for children and families”. We operate one Three Year Old Program and one Four Year Old Program. Many of the 3year old children continue on for the 4 year old Program.

**Description**
- We are looking for a passionate, caring and experienced Early Childhood Educator with excellent communication skills to join our friendly and dedicated staff.



Teamwork skills are essential and the applicant should be committed to providing a high quality education for children in our 3 year old group of up to 22, beginning Term 1 2025. The applicant must_ be _a caring, nurturing person who has a genuine interest in children with their best interest at heart. You will be responsible for
- creating a positive learning environment for_ the_ children
- supporting the implementing of a high quality playbased program based on the children’s interests and developmental needs
- Excellent knowledge of the VEYLDF, NQF, ChildSafe Standards and regulatory requirements are essential.The applicant will be supported by the Committee of Management, Nominated Supervisor/Educational Leader.

**Qualifications**
- To be successful for this position, you will have:

- Certificate 3 or Diploma Certificate in Early Childhood Education
- Excellent knowledge of all relevant regulations and statutory requirements
- Thorough knowledge of VEYLDF and NQF
- An understanding of The Child Safe Standards
- Support the implementing of a program for the 3 year old kindergarten children reflective of the values and ethos in our kinder philosophy
- Ability to work in a team environment with the Director, staff, Committee of Management and families.
