The chance
In this role, you will be joining a team of professionals who are focussed on supporting teachers to personalise learning and maximise educational outcomes for all students. Your knowledge and experience of early identification and intervention strategies for students with sensory and/or physical impairments will enable you to model and share these with teachers. You will also collaborate with other allied health professionals and members of the Education Services team to support staff across our schools. Travelling to schools across the Diocese, your expert advice and professional support will ensure that no matter where students are attending school, they have equitable access to educational opportunities.
Please note this role will require regular travel to a range of schools across the Diocese, including overnight stays.

About You
- Excellent relationship building and influencing skills.
- Experience working with students with sensory and physical impairment will be highly desirable.
- Able to travel regularly to a range of schools across the Diocese, including overnight stays.
- Experience in differentiated planning, teaching and assessing, providing curriculum access and a sense of belonging for all students.
- Commitment to creating a nurturing learning environment.
- Hold or be eligible to hold, registration as a teacher in Queensland.
