**About the role**

Using your retail and management experience to help all creatures’ great and small by coordinating the volunteers and daily operations of the op shop while focusing on generating a valuable income for the RSPCA Queensland. RSPCA Op Shops make a real difference, with all proceeds going straight back to helping animals in need.
- Represent the RSPCA Qld Op Shop team and brand through your passion for all things preloved and second-hand and encourage the same within your team to create a positive supportive store atmosphere.
- Work closely with the Op Shop Area Manager, to support the goals and mission of the RSPCA Qld.
- Maintain a high level of customer service.
- Train and support volunteers.
- Drive sales to achieve set targets.
- Oversee and review all goods for sale in the store.
- Direct and monitor the daily register opening & closing procedures.
- Maintain and periodically review the shop’s pricing list.

**Who are we looking for?**
- Confident in retail and must have demonstrated leadership experience in a retail environment (minimum of 2 years in a similar role).
- Knowledge of fashion and clothing brands.
- Proven visual/merchandising skills.




- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- High level of organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Sound computer skills.
- Proven ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to supervise & provide direction to a small team.

This is a full-time position based at our Stones Corner Op Shop, working 38 hours per week, **including regular weekend shifts.**
