Quest Williamstown North is a 59-room property located in Melbourne's inner west, situated within the City of Hobsons Bay, approximately 12 kilometres south-west of the Melbourne CBD. The property is uniquely situated adjacent to the natural surroundings of Jawbone Marine Sanctuary and Wetlands. Explore historic Williamstown or watch yachts sail across the bay from the beautiful foreshore. The property opened in 2005 but has undergone refurbishments to create the perfect oasis for short or long-term accommodation needs. We offer a close-knit team that is continually growing in wealth of knowledge, pushing boundaries with incredible amenities such as a pool & spa, to secure both corporate and leisure business to provide the perfect mix of excitement for the property.

At Quest Williamstown North, we’re on the lookout for a new Business Development Executive to join our team on a part-time basis, working a maximum of 30 hours per week.

The Role

Reporting to the Franchisee, General Manager and working along-side the Director of Sales, this key role in the business involves identifying and attracting corporate clients, driving engagement with and loyalty to the Quest brand, developing and acting on sales and marketing plans, identifying and engaging with existing and potential local area accounts, and working with the front office and Corporate Office teams (sales, revenue and distribution and marketing and digital) to optimise sales outcomes.

The role also involves occasional after-hours activities,



such as attending and hosting networking events and property familiarisations to showcase Quest Williamstown North and the Quest brand.

The Ideal Candidate

Will be a self-motivated, sales-focused individual who has a passion for developing and nurturing win-win relationships with clients and colleagues.

Enthusiasm for selling is key, as is strong time management, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, and a friendly, mature approach to work.

A proven track record with achieving sales outcomes in a business-to-business setting is essential, and strong knowledge of the industry in the Williamstown and Inner West & Northern Suburbs region would be a distinct advantage.

Whilst not essential, qualifications in a business discipline or the hospitality, travel or tourism industries would be highly regarded, as would prior sales experience in a hotel environment.

A current driver’s license is required for the role; the position does require business park mapping, and driving is essential to this role.
