We’re a small, family-owned business with 11 centres around Sydney/Central Coast, and we’re looking for a passionate trainee to join our Alexandria centre!

Our Alexandria service is a homely 90-place centre open to families from 7am until 6pm, Monday to Friday. All of the Learn & Laugh services aim to provide the best experiences and support for children, families and educators.

About the Roles:

- Full-time (40 hours/week), Monday-Friday
- Location: Alexandria
- Age Group: 6 weeks - 5 years old

As a trainee, you’ll have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of young children while working alongside a supportive and passionate team. You will learn how to:

- Plan and implement a fun and engaging program that reflects the EYLF (Early Years Learning Framework)
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and educators




- Create indoor and outdoor learning environments that encourage exploration, creativity, and play
- Observe and document children's progress
- Support children's emotional and physical needs
- Collaborate with a team to deliver the best possible care

About You:

We’re looking for someone with:

- A genuine love for working with children
- Working with Children Check
- A robust understanding of the EYLF and National Quality Standards (or willingness to learn)
- Current First Aid/CPR/Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Child Protection Training (or willingness to obtain)
- A strong commitment to child safety, including Child Safe Standards
